Video marketing has become massively popular with internet marketers in a short space of time. A year ago video marketing was relatively unheard of in the internet marketing world, now it is being used to make tonnes of sales.
It has become so popular and profitable because it is the next best thing to actually meeting your prospect/viewer face to face. By shooting a video you can connect to people all around the world and it's as if they are inviting you into their home, it's a really great way of relationship building.
The most important thing to remember when making a video is to be yourself! People can tell when you are acting and if you're making lots of videos people will notice if you drop your "act"! So if you're a laid back guy be laid back but if you're a super slick smart guy be that super slick smart guy! People buy from those they like and there will always be people out there that will like you and relate to you. Provide personal content, don't just bang on about how good your product is, talk about how your product has benefitted you personally. Tell your story!
Picture the person you are sending the message in your video to and always keep eye contact with the camera. If you are looking at the floor no one will take notice of what you are saying! Think about what the viewer is likely to be thinking and try and connect with them.
Have presence on camera, make every action you make important and use body language. Sit up right and deliver your words with execution. Speak loudly and pronounce every word, if you mumble most people will close the video as they are not willing to try and make out what you are saying so make it easy for them to hear what you are saying. By doing this you will become a LEADER which is crucial if you want to make money with Internet Marketing, people have to want to follow YOU so give them a reason too!
Give somebody a call to action at the end of your video; this could point them in the direction of your website or contact details. If you have delivered a great video with a great message people will more than likely want to get in contact or hear more from you so make it easy for them!
So the main things to consider when video marketing are: Be yourself, Connect with the viewer, Have authority, Give good content and have a call to action and the end of your video.
If you do this people are more than likely to see you as a leader, they'll then join your list and inevitably go into business or buy from you. This is simple but I see so many Internet Marketers out there that do not execute these techniques; make sure you do and you will make money with Video Marketing.
