Acne on the back is often more difficult to treat than facial acne. The main problem is quite simply that we have a hard time seeing our own back, so the early signs of acne are missed entirely and we fail to treat it right away, as we do when we have an outbreak on the face. Left untreated for too long, and skin problems will start to develop. Among the most common of these is acne. And while acne is commonly considered to be a teenager’s problem, it can affect anyone and can occur on any part of the body. Although not as easily visible as facial acne, back acne can be extremely severe and painful, just because it on your back does not mean that acne can be ignored, it is essential to find a back acne cure before the problem becomes more serious and causes other complications.
An essential part of any back acne cure is the use of a good body wash. Keep in mind that the skin on your back is not as sensitive as the skin on your face, so by the time you can finally feel it, it may have already spread to other areas. Try the milder ones first, or look for body washes that are specifically made for acne treatment. If possible bathe at least twice a day so that the body wash can be really effective in clearing up the skin. Applying pure honey to your back on alternate days is also a good first step - leave the honey on for at least 30 minutes so it can clean and disinfect the area. A good acne soap will help you clean far down into the pores, and you should try to do this twice a day. Multivitamins can improve the ability of your body to fight an acne outbreak, particularly if your body is experiencing a breakdown in its systems. As with the body wash, you should start with a more mild vitamin and build up to the stronger one if necessary.
Wear only soft fabrics next to the skin on the back. Softer fabrics mean your skin is less irritated and the cure will have a better chance to work. Don't try improvising your own homemade cures for back acne, either. Once you step out of the water, dry your back thoroughly with a soft towel. And remember that since the skin on the back is less sensitive than facial skin, reaction and side effects to the back acne cure may not make themselves apparent in the early stages. So remind yourself to check your back on a routine basis.
