Ceiling insulation types helps our houses cooler during summer and warmer in winter seasons. But when you didn’t install any insulation in your home you will definitely feel hotter in summer season and freezing in winter season. It totally affects the atmosphere inside our homes. Without insulation you will have to spend more money on your energy usage. When we use too much energy we are making environmental pollution grow bigger. Ceiling insulation is an innovation that is environmental and budget friendly.

A house that doesn’t contain any insulation consumes more energy during summer and winter season. An non-insulated house gives out more heat that we need during winter season and the cool air during summer. Having insulation installed in your house is a wise choice and a good investment. Houses back then have thicker floors and outside walls so it is hard to keep heat or cold air inside and to enter the house. Renovation is most likely the only option when you own a house with thick walls and floors.

We all know that heat travels from warm areas to cooler areas so that there is going to be an equal distribution of temperature. Heat is transferred through conduction where it is transferred to solid materials. It is also transferred through radiation where heat is transferred from a warm body to a cold body and convection is another form of heat transfer that heat is passed on through air.

Different ceiling insulation types may work differently but the main purpose is to reduce the transfer of heat inside the building or structure going outside. That is why in winter season heat is contained inside our homes because the insulation that are attached in our ceiling prevents heat from going out and in summer when we turn on our air conditioning system the cold air that circulates inside our house can’t easily escape because of our installed insulation. Batts, blankets and loose-fill materials use all three kinds of heat transfers. They use fibers that trap small pockets of air. This small pocket of airs reduces conduction and convection as well as radiation. Aluminums such as foil laminates are influenced by radiation. Because of its shiny surface heat is bounced back and it is effective in reducing heat inside our homes.

The ceiling is one of the main areas that most have an insulation system installed because this is the area that heats usually exits because heated air goes up so the ceiling prevents the warm air to rise and traps it inside your house. It is not advisable that you install insulation on your floors. The roof is the best place where you can install your insulation because this is where heat enters our home thanks to the rays of the sun. during summer or if you open your air conditioning system there are so many methods that you can use when insulating or preventing cold air from escaping inside your homes. This is where fiberglass, wool blankets or bales useful and that is spread out all over your ceiling so that you could keep cooler air inside your house.

Different ceiling insulation types are useful to you when you want to save money as well as making your home comfortable during summer and winter seasons. It is a good investment in the sense because it can last longer and the money you can save with ceiling insulations.
