Adequate preparation is necessary if you wish to subject your pitbull to ear clipping. It can only be done if your pet is at the right age to go through it. You will easily find a lot of people who are against the idea of ear clipping as it inflicts a lot of pain. Sometimes, people will call this an act of mutilation.
Firstly, Why on earth would you want to clip your precious pet's ears? Has it got to do with the fact that you are putting him on a show? Doing it by yourself is the worst idea one could ever come up with as you are most likely to make a mistake. You do not want that to happen as it is very messy and may prematurely end your dog's life. Before you think of doing anything, I strongly urge you to check your facts with a vet.
