Discover why London Hotels are Filled and generally High-priced in November?
There must be some of your readers who are thinking of coming to London in November for a short break. This possibly will assist them come to a decision to plan their journey if they still wish to come.

November is the month where hoteliers, resort, condos, apartment proprietors and travel brokers gather to represent their agencies. The event is known as "The World Travel Market "week (WTM). It is an yearly worldwide occasion where hotel and travel industries people gather and advertise their amenities to potential customers.

This year's date is between the 8th and 11th November 2010 at EXCEL, London. In addition to Travel and Industry people foreign embassies as well have stalls there to invite more tourists to come to their respected countries and market tourism businesses. This is a HUGE MEGA event that modestly put, hoteliers Can not afford NOT to be there if they desire to advertise their hotels or resort facilities!

Thousands upon thousands of travel industry people from all over the world will to come to London intended for this very important international travel industry event. It is like a Superbowl or the Champions League final of the travel industry where everybody wishes to there.

Some hotel reservations agents accept booking as early as March to stay in November to obtain exceptional low-cost rates. I know I did when I was a reservations agent. Some hotels do not even have their winter rates advertise in March! But their travel agent partners would want to book a number of accommodations in favor of their valued clients in addition to a few more accommodations designed for relatives members, just to be on the safe side. They experience that if they hang on and reserve hotel rooms nearer the date it will cost their valued clientele greatly.

You are maybe questioning what's got to do with you as leisure or week-ender travellers? There must be thousands of hotels in London. This is only intended for four days of course I may perhaps find individual hotel to suit my preference? The answer to that is yes. If you are ready to pay premium hotel rates once you book then there is no need for concern. Then again, bear in mind that hotels will try to market their rooms to the highest rates possible plainly because of the "World Travel Market" (WTM) Week. This is the only period hotels can cash-in on the event. Even hotels with no star rankings similar to Bed and Breakfast or Guest Houses will be tricky to get that meet your wishes.

Travel industry delegates will visit to London at least a few days prior to the official opening day to organize their platform at the exhibition. They will as well coordinate meetings with people prior to the big day. Assume thousands of travel delegates needing accommodations in the next seven days or so. You are going to compete with them in searching for more affordable hotel accommodations throughout the WTM week. Needless to say, hotel accommodations rates in London will simply go up. The demands for hotel accommodations will outstrip the supply for this period (WTM).

If you are scheduling to visit London meant for a short break keep away from the "World travel Market" week, if you can. If you definitely have to be there in the dates mentioned above, I strongly suggest you make your hotel reservations as soon as possible.
