The Frequency Lavatory SS 2N is one of the latest models in our line of innovative lavatories. It will accommodate one or two users simultaneously and it presents a contemporary streamlined design. The high tech and intelligent design of this lavatory incorporates a number of unique features that will save the building owner money throughout the life of the lavatory. One feature is that it is available with electric tankless water heaters. This will save the building owner energy, water and money because water is only heated when the user is “requesting” it. There is no tank of hot water and therefore no need to keep gallons of water hot 24 hours a day.
Another unique feature of the Frequency Lavatory SS 2N is the Terreon® solid surface and Terreon®RE recycled solid surface which are now GREENGUARD Certified as low emitting materials. The GREENGUARD Certification ProgramSM is a testing program for low emitting products and materials and whose mission is to protect human health. Their standards are designed to evaluate acceptable indoor environmental standards for building materials, furnishings, electronic equipment, and construction practices. In 2006 the GREENGUARD Building Construction Program was established to prevent moisture and mold growth in new construction. GREENGUARD Certification is broadly recognized and it is expected to become a National ANSI Standard in 2009. It is recognized and accepted by the United States Green Building Council s (USGBC) LEED program.
Because our Frequency Lavatory SS 2N utilize Terreon® solid surface and Terreon®RE recycled solid surface in their construction, they are eligible to earn LEED credits. Terreon®RE contains 25 pre consumer recycled content and 8 rapidly renewable material and is durable and long lasting. Terreon® has unique qualities which allow it to withstand high volume commercial traffic as well as resist vandalism. Its smooth non porous surface is impact and scratch resistant which deters vandalism. It is chemical and stain resistant and it resists heat and water damage. It is very easy to clean and maintain and the smooth surface eliminates cracks and crevices which prevents the accumulation of bacteria or mold. If Terreon® is damaged then the damage can be easily and inexpensively repaired using a Terreon repair kit. It is a “workable” material meaning that it can be cut, drilled or sanded using standard power tools. It is also impregnated with the latest technology in UV light stabilizers and highly UV light resistant. It has a homogenous composition and therefore the selected color is evenly distributed throughout the material. And finally, Terreon is certified to comply with ANSI Z124.3, Z124.6, and ANSI/ICPA SS 1 2001.
The intelligent design of the Frequency Lavatory SS 2N insures that it meets multiple codes for safety, efficiency and user access. The molded sprayhead and vacuum formed acrylic laminate access panel and trap cover was designed to be resistant to impact, abrasion, acid and corrosion. The reliable infrared activation, push button air valve or electronic push button TouchTime® Control are available on all models and are designed to reduce water usage for the building owner. In addition, these lavatories install in 50 less time than a bank of China lavatories. These lavatories are spaced on standard 30 inch centers and will handle washroom traffic quickly and economically.
