Do you know, by hanging yourself you can get taller by as much or as little as 2-4 inches? Does it seem impossible or improbable? Do not let your opinion blind you to what is a scientifically proven fact.

Now, before you run off and think I am talking about "Hanging" yourself, let me explain.

Hanging exercises works against the effects of gravity, of which you are subject to all the day long. Hanging stretches out the spine, causing the disks between the vertebrae to stretch and heal in the new longer position.

If you want to increase the effectiveness of stretching exercises, do them after high-impact workouts. These workouts creates or causes micro fractures. These fractures will stretch just a wee bit when hanging and will then heal longer and stronger. Thus, you are getting taller in the process of healing.

Do some or all of the following hanging exercises to maximize your efforts to get taller naturally.

* HANGING TWIST
o Uses body momentum to get taller
o Hang from bar with hands close together, fingers away from you
o Use legs to cause the body to twist from site to side
o Make easy gentle and even movements
o Keep head still
o Continue for at least one minute
o Break for 30 seconds
o Repeat for 4 cycles

As your strength increases you will be able to control your movements and increase the cycles during your exercise routine.

* HANGING BAR
o Hang vertically with feet of the floor
o Hang as long as possible
o Later, add ankle weights
o Hang perfectly straight
o Bend knees so full body weight is hanging from bar, if need be
o Put head between arms, squeeze shoulder blades together
o Hang 10 seconds then break 10 seconds
o Rinse and repeat for 5 to 10 minutes
o Later, as strength increases, work to 20 second hangs with 15 breaks

* HANGING KNEE-UPS
o Hold bar, hands touching, palms facing you
o Extend body and arms to full length
o Exhale, slowly bring knees to your chest
o Count of 2, inhale and slowly extend knees down
o Do as many as possible in one minute
o Rest 20 seconds,
o Repeat for at least 3 cycles.

This exercise is a little more strenuous than the previous exercise.

However,in addition to stretching your spine and leg bones, it also strengthens your arms, shoulders, and wrists. There are multiple benefits from doing hanging exercises.

Hanging from a horizontal bar can be enhanced even more by wearing ankle weights.

The bottom line is, if you area serious about getting taller naturally than some form of hanging exercises are a must that must be added to your exercise regimen.
