Most experts agree that even they themselves are often puzzled by what exactly is going on in a man’s mind from time to time. While men are often less moody than women, we do have our moods like all other human beings. Therefore it is an understanding of what those moods are, what causes them, and what challenges those ‘altered state’ conditions present that is the topic of this article.
Men, like women, are Right-brained, Left-brained, or Balance-brained in terms of how their emotional rather than analytical sides control their perspectives on most things. Right-brained men, therefore are much more emotionally controlled than those who are Left-brained. When a man who is right-brained is considering buying a car, he will likely focus on seeing himself driving in it. However, a left-brained man will normally focus his concentration on the car’s mileage and warranty, as these are quantitative and seek to support his analytical versus emotional needs.
A mood swing in a Right-Brained man - as a result of a work-related chastising - would likely be concentrated around his self image and how witnesses might have viewed his rebuke. The mood swing in his left-brained counterpart would likely focus on its affect on his chances for promotion. This is the very core of how men react to specific stimuli - and with even greater concentration and severity than the same stimulus in women.
The closer to a man’s private self the issue the more baffling and confusing it becomes. Take for instance a first date, wherein almost all men talk incessantly about themselves. Many women are often perplexed by a man’s sudden mood change if he is questioned about something personal - considering that he has probably been talking about himself for more of the date than she has been. What is different - again usually missed by most women - is the difference between an offering by the man of information about himself as opposed to being questioned. Being questioned - especially by a woman - about anything is received with consternation and suspicion. If the question is a minor one that is an obvious follow-on to a previous comment offered by the man, this will typically be allowed.
Mood swings that result from communication with his mate that was unpleasant or threatening - no matter the degree of threat - are often the most difficult to understand. Men auto-shutdown their openness to communicate - also known as closing their spirit - when this occurs. In this type of scenario, getting the man to start talking again - about anything is the real challenge here. If that is successful on your part, a man will often allow himself to be gently dragged back into a normal level of communication.
In order to get ex back especially from a breakup with lots of these mood swings, or if you plan to win your ex back an understanding of these mood-change concepts will really help to get your ex back.
