Content delivery network has being making rounds but there are a few questions which need to be answered in relation to its efficiency and accuracy. To make the task simpler, few of the questions and the answers are listed below.

What do these content types include? It includes many features such as real time media streams, applications, download-able objects, web objects, etc. This even includes a few internet delivery components such as routes, DNS, and database queries. The next question to pop up in one’s mind is that what are the benefits of content delivery network? To start with, it can be said that as compared to the capacity of the network’s backbone, the servers strategically placed have a higher capacity sum which could result with a definite increase to the number of users on a concurrent basis.

What are the Content delivery network techniques? Everyone knows that the internet came into existence so that the principle of end-to-end can be attained. Let us first understand what this principle is. This principle is meant to increase the communication between the clients and the hosts. This principle is made simpler with the introduction of content delivery network. It further elaborates the idea of putting this principle into use by reducing the obstacles between the client node and the server node. The delivery of the content has been more intelligently optimized with the use of content delivery network.

What are peer-to-peer content delivery networks? Peer-to peer (P2P) content delivery networks cannot be considered as one of the technologies as that of the traditional content delivery network. But still it has a demand which is only increasing day-by-day. The reasons for its increasing demand are that it has a distribution system which is efficient and even proves good by lowering the costs. This even proves that P2P’s competition level which is more or less at par with the traditional content delivery network. Another point to be noted here is that P2P proves much better than the traditional content delivery networks is that when a user plans to distribute data which is very attractive one can see the difference in the superiority of a P2P content delivery network. Lastly in this case, when same data is downloaded by the user, P2P effectively slashes the cost of the transaction.

One might wonder as how this Content delivery network works? The answer to this question is quite straight forward. A Content delivery network is a system which guides the customers to the nearest node or server. When the customer gets access to the desired website, the content is not retrieved from the base server, but from the node itself. This at the same time even helps in reducing server’s load and allows the content’s delivery process to speed up. Next, origin site’s content is pushed out immediately to other servers. This process happens only when the request is made from the specified location. One might even noticed that this process saves cost and improves performance.
