The Chief Secretary of the Organizing Committee commented in the sports forum that the administration appreciated the anxieties shown by some constituent nations and the Commonwealth Games Federation. But he proposed that the accusations could be due to "cultural differences". But it seems that there are various other differences as well.
Indians are much focused that everyone has distinct measures about cleanliness. The Westerners have distinct hygiene measures, Indians have distinct standards and the position is under command and that it was certain and assured that cleansing in the residential localities would be complete before the arrival of athletes on 23 September. But unfortunately the delegates who travelled to the main tower blocks where athletes will reside throughout the sport had recounted them as filthy, with rubble and debris lying aimless in doorways, toilets not employed and excrement "in locations it shouldn''''t be".
It seems that Indians are not well aware of the importance of the sports village which is the most vibrant part of any world class competition and the sportsmen warrant the best likely natural environment to arrange for their competition. There were furthermore accounts in the Indian newspapers that only a few residential towers in the village have been completed so far. There was water leaking issues in numerous bathrooms. They hadn''''t been cleansed, it was filthy.
India is trying hard to fight back the allegations after the rough remarks by Michael Fennell, the President of Commonwealth Games who is advising direct activity over the situation in the athlete village. Mr. Fennell asserted sportsmen set to become involved in the sport had been influenced with the worldwide zone and major dining locality, but alarmed by the state of the places to stay.
Ground floor rooms of numerous luxury suites had been competently inundated throughout hefty rainfall and were enclosed in mud. Speculations are made that these so called good sports might even have to be cancelled. Definitely if the town is not prepared and athletes can''''t arrive, conspicuously the significances of that are that it''''s not going to happen.
To add to the anxieties, an increased walkway at the main sporting venue disintegrated lately, hurting 23 building employees seriously. It is not clear what initiated the disintegration of the walkway, which was being constructed to connection a vehicle reserve to the arena, where the Games unfastening observance is to take place. So what’s next for the good sports of Commonwealth?
No it’s pretty bleak actually and absolutely frustrating when you address the allowance of time Indians had to prepare. Sportsmen from Scotland, New Zealand, Canada, Pakistan and Northern Ireland have already claimed their groups be put up in fine hotels if the village is not ready yet. Commonwealth Games England has called for pressing work on the amenities, lifting anxieties about plumbing, electric and other operational details.
