Many folks who write a lot of articles will know what it means to experience the writer's block!
Its cruicial to keep producing those articles if you are trying to increase your expose. Sometimes you just don't feel like doing it, or worse still you simply run out of ideas.
Google loves websites that have new content added to them on a regular basis. I would advise that you are creating a new article every day if you want this to get the best results. If you persevere and stick to this regime then the first reward you will notice is super fast indexing of your content by Google. I often get my new content indexed within minutes. I have proved this many times over by using the search string 'site:"www.mywebsite.com"' in Google search.
If ever you don't feel like writing an article that day then just imagine the power of having your content indexed and ranked within a minute or so! I'd recommend that you get Firefox and the Alexa 'Sparky' add on so you can track your rank. Seeing this figure improve on a weekly basis will give you some real motivation.
Something you should do is keep tabs on the position of your website in the search engines for your chosen keywords. You shouldn't get to hooked on this though! Assuming you are doing everything correctly then you will see that your position in the search results will keep improving. Very motivating!
You should aim for 1 article a day, don't go to bed until its done. You might feel that you can't write a good enough article that day, but just do it! You can always amend it later if you want to. Just choose a topic and write, even if you don't do any keyword research.. Can't think of a topic? It's not usually that difficult for me to find a topic to write about once I start researching Google for information relating to my market. One thing leads to another and I soon discover lots of ideas I can write about, try it for yourself.
Always bear in mind the reason for doing article marketing. We are writing articles to increase our exposure and drive massive amounts of traffic to our websites, and after a few weeks of daily effort we will be rewarded. More visitors = more sales & profit. Once your traffic is coming in take a holiday! The good thing about article marketing is that it is a long term strategy that will continue to bring traffic to your website month after month.
