Vampires and the likes of these scary creatures have been famous subject matter since the early 18th century. These creepy creatures possess a spine-chilling amalgamation of the beauty and mortal danger. Both attractive as well as repulsive the vampires are a good combination of humanity and monstrosity. Benefiting from the scary creatures’ grim and fictional characters Stephanie Meyer has managed to create a different world all together- a world where love between mere lethal and enticingly dangerous daunting creatures of the night is within the territory of reality, possibility and imagination. The scary creatures of this world can be categorized as follows.
Edward Anthony Cullen- Edward Cullen was born in 1901 on the 20th of June.. Dr. Carlisle Cullen saved Edward to grant Edward’s mother, Elizabeth’s dying wish. However, the solitary way to do so is to convert him into a vampire—a creepy creature of the dark that doesn’t eat, sleep or age as the 17-year old body was frozen badly in his body. By feasting on animal blood Edward has survived the century. He straight away fell in love with Bella swan as soon as she arrived in Forks. Fighting the urge to kill her because of his daunting nature of feeding on blood and at the same time wanting to love her, he faces a bout with his own self almost every time throughout the story.
Jacob Black- He is a werewolf who is afterwards discovered to be a shape-shifter as he doesn’t transform like others on a full moon. He Being Bella’s best friend is determined to stand by her and protect her no matter what happens.
Carlisle Cullen-a man who spent a major chink of his life as a vampire in perfecting his resisting power and staying away of the bloodlust, having brought from his life as a human. We are told of the love affair of Carlisle Cullen with Esme, in the book. He transformed her into a vampire to save her life. He is also known to transform Rosalie Hale and Emmett into vampires.
Esme Cullen- Wife of Carlisle, she is the adoptive mother of Edward, Rosalie, Alice and Emmett. She has no special power of vampires, but has a very strong ability to love every one passionately. She commits suicide because she couldn’t bear the pain of her son’s death. It was then the time when Carlisle converted her into a vampire.
Rosalie Hale-Beautiful to the perfection she is the adoptive child of esme and Carlisle. She is a repulsive character that doesn’t like Bella too much. The reason behind this turns out o be Bella’s mortality. Wanting to be a mortal herself she advices Bella to stay human and not get herself transformed into a vampire.
Emmett Cullen- married to Rosalie hale, his curls and innocence reminds Rosalie of her dead son. This is why she takes him back to her father to get him transformed into a vampire.
Alice Cullen- vampire is petite with a impressive way of walking has a distinguishable ability to see the outcomes of the decisions made. She was transformed into a vampire to protect her from another vampire that haunts her.
Jasper Hale- transformed into a vampire when he was 20, he soon developed the bility to manipulate the feelings and emotions f people around him. He is found to be lacking the self-control to feats on the human blood. He trains newborn vampires and has many scars and marks on his body.
