Dogs often act like humans during the most inconvenient times. Many, whether dog owner or not, see dogs as almost like humans because they feel a wide range of emotions too and deserve to be loved. An animal portrait may successfully be done because of the application of this recognition and study of dogs' moods, likes, and dislikes.
Wagging his tail and refusing to prick up his ears are instances when a dog shows he resents having his picture taken. The portrait artist would be distracted by the hardheadedness of the dog. Getting your dog to do an interesting and arrestive pose may be accomplished when you surprise it with a sound rather than a smell. When posing a dog, photographers would often require the absence of the breeder. Dog owners can imitate mothers who are nervous and concerned for their child, to the point of making a big fuss, and that is why photographers do this. Likewise the dog is too accustomed to the tricks employed by his master in attracting his attention and is not aided by his presence. Using various sound effects, however, would elicit the desired reaction from the animal.
