The company specializes in plasma technology but there manyl models in their collection which support LCD technology. We will examine the three best performers from Panasonic.
Panasonic TC-L32X2 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV
A great model for anyone that is looking for enhanced picture quality, multiple connectivity and attractive price tag at the small to medium sizes. The television supports LCD CCFL backlit technology, comes at 1366 x 768 pixels and supports IPS (In Plane Switching for great light transmittance and a wide viewing angle) IPod Integration, and Game mode; thus reproducing sharp images and concurrently playing games that demand power and quick responses.
Also added is “Viera Link” allowing control of AV devices via the televisions remote control, and the Image viewer for viewing images through the included SD Card slot. Price is at $350.
With an image aspect ratio at 16:9 at 37 inches and with IPS LED technology, Panasonic LCD Televisions delivers unsurpassed image quality at an excellent price tag ($650).
It comes loaded with all the super menus and connectivity capabilities as well as the standard support for iPod connectivity and control. This model represents the company’s latest work in delivering LED models to a competing retail market that is increasingly following the LED trend.
Panasonic TC-L42D2 42-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LED HDTV
With this, the largest LED in their newest collection and at $900, Panasonic is offering a complete collection on the new LED technology covering all sizes. The television has excellent image quality; other than that, the other characteristics are similar to the TC-L37D2 model.
Judging from the available reviews on amazon and other sites on the Internet, the models just described briefly, are the best the compnay can offer except their classic 'fleet' of plasma televisions. It is far from surprising to see Panasonic to change the flat panel operating technology; they follow what people want, which is cheaper products of better quality as well as more environmentally friendly.
The usual plasma technology does not offer what LED has to offer, although it still outperforms the traditional LCD technology. That is why the company is slowly moving towards LED and other, newer viewing advancements like AMOLED and SAMOLED in the future, in order to keep up with the current and strengthen their brand position.
