A good friend who has a extremely nice Christian radio station asked me whether or not I believed that he ought apply paid advertising or depend exclusively on donations to finance his radio station.
I quickly responded that he should not rely totally on the Christians to support his radio station. This was specially real given that he was already earning a nice income through paid ad while serving through Christian music very profitably. Visibly that radio station can run ads as LONG AS nothing corrupt or non-Christian is marketed. As far as I know, most Christians eat, buy cars, etc.
I still stick that belief.
As a evangelist, I also prefer to raise resources for my missions efforts through my own internet business (tentmaking), rather than depend only on assistance. That is because of the time element involved with itinerating and not merely for financial reasons.
"Christian Marketing" or "Christian's in Business"?
Do you have a Christian Internet marketing or are you a Christian with an internet business?
Here are 2 definitions that Terry Dean stated in a recent interview related to Christians and Business:
" "Christian marketing" may mean a marketing that sells to Christians (like a Christian bookstore).
" "Christian in marketing" is merely someone who is a Christian in business.
I'm a Christian in an internet business. You can study more about my marketing as a Christian below. Perhaps you must have a Christian online business too.
Christian Online Marketing Fallacies
As a Christian Entrepreneur there is something that concerns me:
I have found many non-Christians that make a better model than that of the Christian world. Declaring that you are a Christian while performing fraudulence is deceptive. That indeed concerns me. Uprightness is certainly a unusual item on the online and Christians should be the first to step to the plate and represent candid standards.
Don't get me wrong, I am merely saying my experience, there are also certain greatest examples of Christian Truthfulness out there, such as Terry Dean (mentioned above), Maria Reyes McDavis, Problogger Darren Rowse and many others who have extremely thriving online businesses.
I do however, get pretty sick of religiosity (there's a distinction in being religious and being Christlike). I inclined to make an effort and balance this out as a"spiritual" leader.
Your Christian Online Business
As a Christian, What is your Online Marketing? should You just target Christan's in an online marketing?
We all are called to be a light to the world and a city set on a hill. How in the world can you let your light shine if you ONLY sell to Christians? Not everybody is called to be a missionary, but everybody is called to be a light in their daily existence…a missionary in their every day world. You'll by no means accomplish your mission hiding from the world.
