If you like the idea of using articles to market your site and products then rather than just writing a lot of articles, submitting them to sites and hoping that something will stick here are a couple of article marketing strategies to keep you focussed, productive and successful.
Article Marketing Strategies that are free;
1 - Write for your blog
The length will depend on the topic that you are writing about and the information that you want to give people, but around 500 - 800 words is all that most people can handle.
Make sure that it contains around 1-2% of your keywords eg use your phrase once or twice for every 100 words
Use short paragraphs and bullet points for easy reading.
2 - Rewrite It
After you have uploaded your article to your site you need to take a copy of it and reduce it to under 600 words,
Now you are going to Rewrite or spin every sentence in that article three times. .
3 - Compare The Two
If you want to be extra certain, submit your two articles to an article compare tool. There should be at least 30% difference - Some say 50% difference, I try to get at least 75%
Programs that spin your articles automatically are not recommended because of the shocking quality of the spun articles.
There are programs available that will assist you with spinning your article and these are well worthwhile. Alternatively, if you don’t want to spin your article, you can re-write it completely for each submission.
4 - Submit Your Article
Submit your article to an article directory like Ezinearticles.com, wait for it to get approved and then submit other versions of your article to every other article directory that you can get your hands on - there are loads of them, so be prepared to submit to at least 30 sites.
5 - Build 2.0 Sites
Re-write your article completely and build your own Web 2.0 sites. These are sites like Squidoo.com, Hubpages.com, Zimbio.com, Wetpaint.com. Basically your very own cool webpage, but they do have some conditions for use attached.
6 - Upload
Sites like docstoc.com and scribd.com will accept content in Word and PDF form - great for those of us that still like using Word to write our articles!
Do the same steps for your next keyword phrase.

1 - As above - write your article
2 - Submit a trimmed version to EzineArticles.com.
Once it is live on EzineArticles
3 - Join sites like those listed below who have their own network of blogs and article directories and submit your articles through them.
Many of these have a spinning tool available as part of the subscription.
On top of these services you can also still submit versions of your articles to other directories and Web 2.0 properties.
Article Marketing Strategies for The Bigger Budget
These article marketing strategies involve outsourcing most or all of the work.
Then you can take these articles and submit them to one, two or even all the article submission services.
Regardless of budget all article marketing strategies follow the same blueprint;
Write like mad
Spin
Submit to as many places as possible
Repeat the process for all your keywords
