Trade of the day in late Asian session where Joe took a short on EURUSD for 30 pips
Pre-London this morning started with an aggressive move to the upside on EURUSD and EURJPY and a really quick and clean pullback to 5min levels where Luka took 2 lots on EURUSD long. He closed 1 lot for +8 and got stopped out on the rest for break even. As EURJPY also came down to strong support after stopping Luka out on EURUSD, he took another 2 lots long on EURJPY this time and made +4 on 1 lot. The price action slowed down dramatically after these levels were hit so he had to eventually get out for break even on the other lot.
For the London Session Franjo could not find safe entries today as we saw Euro strength across the board with no proper pull backs and other pairs were ranging. Franjo used the “no-trade” market sentiment to do a summary of trend trades training session Kashif did yesterday in our Online Training Room. Towards end of his session Franjo took a long EURUSD trade on a pullback to 15 minute levels. As Kashif already posted the trade on the announcer Franjo did not post it again but managed and commented on the microphone. The 5 minute S3 entry did not hold so one add to the long position was needed 10 pips lower at the 15 minute S2 support. The combined stop loss was 15 pips which was just below the big number 1.3300. The price action stalled and it took a few minutes for EURUSD to complete the 15 minute inside bounce but Franjo was able to close his first entry for -2 pips and his better entry for good profit. As it was Kashif’s call, his pips made on that set up will be counted.
The New York session proved to be a busy one for Paul. Cable was heading for a predefined level identified in Friday’s trade ideas. There was a 2 column rroad block just above the level and Paul took an intial long here for a very quick +7. Then cable fell to near enough the level he wanted and he long cable again this time taking +15, although he wished he had held it as it kept going with some of the traders in the room taking +25. his next trade was on Swissy where it had reached its 60 minute box and the R7 on the 15 minute chart. He went short eventually taking +7. Finally late in the session he saw cable at another 3 column road block which he took long for another +10.
