Many of us look for summer sun, pop on a plane and fly to our final destination to bathe in the warmer climate. Holidaying in the sun allows you to unwind and catch up on a much needed break from the office or work.

If like me you prefer an exciting holiday, where you are doing things rather than sitting around, or even lying around in most cases a snow holiday might well be right up your street.
Snow holidays enjoy all of the luxuries that beach holidays offer, so you can still get high quality apartment, dine out with friends, family and fellow holiday makers and unsurprisingly go shopping. Albeit the shopping is for a different attire.
If you have ever wondered what you might be able to get up to on a snow holiday, here are just a few of the most popular activities you could enjoy on a snow holiday:
Downhill Skiing - You would never be allowed to just 'go skiing', unless you lied about your experience. I imagine the instructors would notice your lack of skill if you did try to deceive them.
Preparation is essential to ensure that you are ready to go skiing, you will go through extensive training beforehand, then start off on the smaller slopes before attempting any of the larger slopes, which from the top might seem like mountains.
Watching a few videos online, might help you to decide if skiing is something you might want to consider.
Snowboarding - Snowboarding is an alternative to skiing but involves some similar techniques and the training and learning process take around the same amount of time. If you can skateboard then it will come as no surprise to you, this is very similar, and just you don't have wheels.
Believe it or not while on a snow holiday, it is possible you can still catch a full tan. Although the temperature outside may be below zero, the sun's rays will pierce through your ski goggles, leaving a fantastic tan on the face.
All of these snow activities provide great opportunities to have an awesome holiday, both skiing and snowboarding are dangerous activities and should only be undertaken after proper instruction and sign off from an instructor.
