Articles are free to write and to submit.They are a great way to get traffic to your site. You will want to write a 400 500 word article (using your keywords in it) on your topic or niche. You will also want to write a short 2 3 sentence bio. Make sure to include a link to your website. Write good quality unique content in your articles. You want to provide good information to your readers. Teach them something that will be of help to them. When people look up information, they want to learn something. Also, you want your bio to sound enticing so that the reader will want to know more about you.
Some places to submit your articles are: www.EzineArticles.com, www.GoArticles.com, www.ArticlesBase.com, www.ArticleDashboard.com, www.ArticleCity.com, and www.Isnare.com. There are thousands of article directories online that you can submit to. You can find more directories by doing a search online for: article directories. The more places your article is distributed at, the more of a chance your article has to be read.
If you have written a great article, people will click on your links. And the more that people click on your links, the higher your website will be ranked in the search engines. This is called backlinking. The more backlinks you have to your site the better. And the more that people click on your links, shows the search engines that you have good relevant content and they will reward that by placing your website higher in the search engines. Think of it this way, when people click on your link, it s like a vote that says, I vote for this site. It has the content I m looking for .
Also, if you write great content, people will put your articles on their websites. Online business owners are always looking for great content to put on their site and if you provide it, then they will put it on their site. The more people who see your article, the better. This will give you a chance to get more backlinks to your site. Don t just stop at five articles, keep writing and submitting. The more articles, the better.
