As we are all looking to find new ways to relax and relieve stress, many are turning to the sport of bowling. It is great fun and with the handicaps that are used you can compete with anyone, no matter how great their bowling shirt is.
I have found bowling is a lot like golf in the fact that just because the guy or gal can dress the part, it does not mean that they can play a lick. Usually when someone walks up to the lane all decked out looking like they should be on a professional tour that is usually where the similarities stop. Anybody can buy a good looking bowling shirt and look like a million bucks. Here are some different ideas for you.
1. Polo Bowling Shirt
Many people choose a polo sport shirt to bowl in as they have many benefits. First, they come in many different fabrics such as cotton, cotton/poly blends and many new high tech materials. Second, they come in all colors and I mean all colors! If you can think of a color in the rainbow you will be able to match it. Third, they are not expensive. Depending on the quality of the polo, you can do this for cheap!
2. Camp Shirt as a Bowling Uniform
A camp shirt allows you plenty of room to be comfortable while you bowl. Being one of these guys, I can really relate to sometimes you just need some more room to operate! Some people also think that camp shirts can give you a little dressier look than a polo can. I guess it depends if you are into the Charlie Sheen look or not.
3. Embroidered Shirt For Bowling
If you are bowling in a league, then you can personalize your shirts. You can come up with a team name and logo or use this as an opportunity to promote your business. You have multiple opportunities to logo a shirt and it still will not look as if it is too much. Of course you can place a logo on the right or left chest, the right or left sleeve or on the back of the shirt. Some will use the entire back for their logo as others will simply place it just under the collar. If you do want to use the entire back, the cost of the embroidery will go up simply due to the fact it has so many stitches. In addition, there are usually some small one time set up fees. However, once they are paid they will not be incurred again for that logo.
4. Silk Screened Bowling Shirt
Silk screening is another option that you have to personalize your shirts. Silk screening will look good and the price will vary depending on the size of your logo as well as how many colors or screens that are used to make the logo.
Whether you have just started bowling or have been doing it for some time now, wearing a comfortable shirt is important. It can also create team unity or help you promote your business while you are having a good time.
