Autumn is a time of change when the leaves turn from green to beautiful reds, oranges, and golds and the air becomes crisp. Don’t think the pearls were used on just tops and dresses; one designer even attached pearls to shoes for a new look. Striking hour glass shaped high heels with oversized pearls pierced through them are a sure fit for any daring fashionista looking to set a new trend.
Tahitian pearls are also a definite trend for the fall season. These richly colored black pearls are the perfect cool weather accessory. Layer up a bunch of long strands of these black beauties with one or two strands of classic white pearls for the perfect accessory to any outfit in your wardrobe. Another trend seen on the runways of New York City is a clutch shaped like an oyster shell. Beautiful iridescent colors make up the bag and a beautiful large black Tahitian pearl is attached where the two parts of the “shell” meet.
Celebrities everywhere have been spotted sporting both Tahitian and other cultured pearls on the streets and red carpets.
