Christelle Ronco is a Frenchwoman who has lived all her life in and around Toulouse, the home of the Musée des Augustins, the Capitole and Raymond Moretti's Occitan Cross.
To the end of 2010, Chris moved to the north seeking education in the English language and found employment within an IT agency run by an Englishman.
As a result she has opted to stay in the region and now this beautiful home, once a Schoolhouse, is available once again to a loving owner.
So, how about some more information?
The Ronco House is situated down in a peaceful village in Gaillac, called Saurs. It features a big enclosed front and side garden, a sizable driveway and delightful patio. The grapevines abut the house and actually, you may see us picking the grapes not ten metres from the house in the images on our website.
Just as well then that the quality of the grapes is untouchable, in view of the fact that the house is but a stone's toss from the renowned Château de Saurs vineyards. A number of the most rare and most enjoyable wines can be found in the area for little more than a loaf of bread!
Tastings are commonly held for the superb reds produced in this region from the syrag, merlot and gamay grapes.
A sizable open shed completes the exterior of the home by providing not just car space but also storage for your wood, tools and toys!
The facade of the residence is a strong, magnificent sight that faces onto the local, quiet roads. The walls are covered in concrete, which may need some awareness before painting, or might be removed to expose the brick structure of the home and would give the front elevation personality. All windows have slatted wooden shutters with black ironworks, the front door is a double door, from wood that will take but a morning to strip and varnish back to its former glory.
The Ronco House at present features two large feature bedrooms but the downstairs living space ( one hundred square metres - 328 square feet! ) could without problems be reduced to provide a third bedroom if required.
