Competition is everywhere, but everyone cannot do the same thing. You need to know how to break competitiors down to their needs while improving your position and image in your market.

This topic is vital to your personal fitness business because it can determine the strength of your success as well as failing aspects of its operations. One of my successful mentees is dominating this market even though he has a lot of competitors. Here s how it breaks down he is 1 of 4 personal training studios in a 5 mile radius.

Aside from that, two mega clubs are three miles from him, and several in home trainers. Imagine all of this competition within a small community of 80,000 residents.

It was only a year ago when he was just another personal trainer without a face, place, or impact in the community. Majority of his competition used the same ads, offering the same services, and left no trace of personality for their prospects.

He took a moment to recognize this and wanted to change the way his business was presented. He purchased my PT Business Course and then my 12 month mentor program to learn how to stand out int he community. He increased his income by thousands, created a name for himself, and offered clients personality. You will learn (just like him) that personality and positioning can make a big difference in your business marketing efforts. The program is designed to change your image in a great way and he can vouch for it.

This seems a little easy, huh?

Well, once you position yourself as a leader in your market competitors start to take jabs at your services. It may seem like a bad thing, but their jabs show their insecurity in their own marketing efforts. So, why would you worry if you are making an impact on your competitor s business?

At this point in your PT career, your competitors are not sweating down your neck. Establishing a position or Unique Selling Proposition (USP) can make your competitors watch your every move. Instead of fixing their own mistakes, they will begin to give you recognition when they begin to copy your marketing for their own gain.

Do not pay attention to what your competitors are doing. In fact, just focus on creating a USP that stands out to your community. Reinfoce these differences, offer or add more services, and become flexible in offering contracts to prospects.

The stronger your USP, the harder you knock your competitors out of the water. Own up to your claims and deliver on a consistent basis. A money back guarantee or trial sessions were the leading offers by my client and clients loved him. The idea is to be the Microsoft of your industry dominate, control, and transform as the competitors TRY to copy you.

Have you noticed how Microsoft upgrades, offers amazing customer service, and creates new software for every PC need you could have? Position your PT business the same way and customers will stick with you through thick or thin.

Do you see what I m saying?

Never fall short on your goals and knock your competitors back in theri place by creating a USP to deliver your community what their looking for in a personal trainer.
