The design of your postcards is a very crucial element, which is something you need to keep it on your mind always. A good design can make your printed materials look more attractive and effective, and also improve the message that you have placed on them. But how will you do this? For your convenience, below are some tips that you can consider.

• Design on both sides of your postcards – rather than using the common practice of designing only on the front side, there are now some business owners that design both at the back and the front of their cards. This way, the message that you have made can be read immediately no matter which side of the card is faced up when a client or customer receives it.

• Always design for show – there are some people that usually use their favorite cards as wall decoration or inspiration. Most of the time, you will see beautiful cards being displayed on refrigerator doors and work desk because they carry an inspiring message or a memorable image. Therefore, the more people see your cards, the more exposure that you can attain.

• Avoid cluttering your cards with words – as much as possible avoid using small fonts especially those very small ones just to compress all the details and information that you want for your cards. Doing this process can make the text in your cards very difficult to read and understand. Always be sure that you will leave just enough space on your cards for easy reading and understanding.

• Choose the right and well suited color for your cards – warm colors such as yellow and red are vibrant which usually adds life to your cards. Most professionals suggest the use of colors such as blue or green for these colors are very pleasing. You have the right to choose the color that you want for your cards but always keep in mind that your choice of color can either strengthen your message or outshine it. Therefore, be careful when it comes to choosing the best color for your cards.

• Be sure that the design you create will suit of fit your cards – do you have post cards that complement with your business message? Is your choice of color or image suit to with what you have to say? Sometimes, there are cards that are overly done that the message on it gets lost in the midst of all the colors and images. Then again, ensure that your design will properly suit with the message that you want to impart to your clients and customers in the market.

• Quality printing is essential – after you have created your design for your cards, it is now the time to consider the printing process. If you plan to distribute large number of cards in the market, then it is a must for you to hire a professional printing company rather than doing the whole printing process on your own.

• Last but not the least, consider sending big postcard printing – instead of distributing standard sized cards to your clients and customers, have you ever thought of sending out bigger sized cards? With this process, you can make your cards attractive and more interesting to your clients and customers; thus, giving you more exposure in the business industry.
