It wasn't enlightened or elated, but was "entangled" for Rina Dhaka. Her collection showcased at the fourth day of the HDIL India Couture Week 2010 was named "Entanglement", the clothes with cobweb motifs, extensions and designs resembling how things are tangled is said to be an interesting experiment by the fashionistas. "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" girl Anushka Sharma was the showstopper for the show. Her svelte figure looked stunning in a net sari with silver motifs.
Though the dresses had very modern silhouette, because of its theme it looked less wearable. But with all that glitter and shine, Rina doesn't misses out the Indian touch. Audience loved the rich collection and gothic dark make-up of the models. Her edgy line was purely rich, sophisticated with a tinge of royalty. She merged a very 90s look in umbrella lines using deceptive monochromatic and hybrid smoky hues. Especially the creations in white were mesmerizing. Rina also used the flower pattern as an entangled picture which looked great on ramp.
Who all were present - Mehr Jessia, Farah Ali Khan and Poonam Dhillon. Mehr and Farah were seen bonding big time. Pinky Reddy, Nandita Mahtani, Sussanne Khan, Renu Chainani, Shaan and Sharmilla Khanna, Sonal Chauhan, Karan Johar and Reema Jain.
Since the fourth day also saw Salman Khan's Being Human show that too with several Bollywood's hotties, response to Rina Dhaka's show was lackluster. Nevertheless, her show got many cheers from her fans and friends.
For the final bow Rina walked in with the Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi gal Anushka, in a white frilled top teamed with tattered jeans. Just Adorable!
