This saw the delivery of the Astrolabium Galileo Galilei, this was the first model in Oechslin`s series, "Trilogy of Time". This series saw the watchmaker enter back into the limelight and his name etched in the legendary, Guinness Book of Records.
This was the instant when Schnyder knew without reservation that this was something very unique.

The attractive Innovision came about by way of the FREAK, this was considered by some to be one of the most creative of all watches ever to be created and it was a great hit with the general public. Ulysse Nardin protected advancements with the "Astrolabium, Planetarium and the Tellurium", along with taking the "Innovation Prize" four times. The "Freak, Genghis Khan, GMT + Perpetual" and the "Sonata" have all been recognised.
