It is a fact of life that when you have a baby (or two, or three), then you are going to need a baby stroller. Having the correct one will make everyone happy. There are so many types to choose from to fit your needs, be assured, you can find the one that you want.
The versions range from lightweight models to robust models. The activities planned with your baby will shape your decision when considering different models. A long shopping trip or outing where there are many people and obstacles to navigate around is best suited for a standard stroller that can be handled easily, but also can endure extended usage. On the other side of the spectrum, a quick trip really only needs a lightweight stroller often called an umbrella stroller.
People that have an active lifestyle and who also may pursue physical activity will probably desire the addition of a jogging stroller. For those that have multiple children, you may have a double stroller (or even a triple stroller, bless your soul!) in your arsenal as well. It is surprisingly nimble and light, but it can also be hard in certain areas to pass between obstacles easily due to its size.
Another deciding factor is having children of different ages. Using my family as an example, one child is of the age where riding in the stroller is often punctuated by periods of walking. She often will get bored and this can affect the quality of the ride for the other one. At least for us, the latter situation makes having a baby stroller for each child somewhat easier in certain circumstances. So, it does help to plan ahead when you are deciding which strollers to take with you.
The features that come with the different types of baby strollers are another area to consider (yes, there s even more) Mothers, fathers, grandparents and friends all like certain conveniences when possible. You may not find much of this on the umbrella type strollers but when you move up to the standard, double and jogging stroller models then the selection becomes much more impressive. Everything from cup holders to built in speakers is possible for both grownups and children if you look hard enough at the variety out on the market.
Let us list down some of the common features that strollers can potentially possess today. Many models come with several of the following features:

adjustable seats
removable trays
removable arm and foot rests
sun and rain canopies
brakes
folding capability (one or two handed)
comfort grips
weight
weight capacity
suspension
latch and seatbelt system (I still struggle with ours)
color scheme
frame material
fabric material
Now this seems like a lot of areas to research but it makes sense considering the use it will go through. Hopefully, the stroller that you purchase will last and the features above will make it a worthwhile investment. A few closing points, check to see if any recalls exist for a specific baby stroller. Always mail in the registration after purchase. This will ensure that you are notified of potential issues and may mean a free replacement.
Getting a baby stroller will mean several decisions. The activities that planned with your infant(s), along with safety and convenience should be a part of those decisions. Selecting the best fit will ensure that your child and you get the best benefits.
