Whatever you decide on doing for the rest of your life, you need to make sure that what you want to do is something you can see yourself working long term and you want to make sure you know for a fact you can make a career out of it. It takes a lot of time researching on what you want to do and you want to make sure that you know what you want to do for a living before you spend all your money on education especially when you're searching for nurse practitioner jobs. Especially with the way the economy is today, everyone is looking to make more money so most people turn to the medical field. Their are tons of jobs in the medical field that anyone could do once you get the right training to do them. Maybe some people like everything their is about nursing, but others may only like the office side of the medical because they won't be dealing with the patients or dealing with the blood. Their are plenty of job sites that have a nursing job you might like or you can do a search online to better point you in the right direction. If you do a search for a nursing job using the search bar, then you may have found out that you can click on a click that will show you the exact websites where they will have a nursing job available. If for some reason both of these back up plans fail and you have tried and tried and tried searching on the internet but you haven't heard back from anyone and you're sure that your resume is exactly what the employer is looking for, then they may not be hiring or they may not have had a chance to review your resume yet. Hundreds may be even thousands of people apply for at least one job everyday especially in the medical field. What you would have to do is be persistent. If you have not heard from them in a few days, then send them your resume again and let them know how serious you are about getting the job. Once you have done all your researching and have decided that going to be a nurse practitioner is the right career for you and you want to spend the next eight years in school, then you'll be able to either get financial aid depending on your financial situation or you can pay for it out of pocket. The more nursing jobs you apply for, the more likely you'll get a call back from an employer wanting to interview you. If you treat looking for jobs as a full time job meaning you're on your computer from eight to five, then their's a good chance that you won't get one interview you may get more if your resume is impressive to the employer. It's a good thing, if you decide to go to nursing school, to start school early either in your late teens or early twenties so that way by the time you're done with school you'll still be young and searching for a job. You also want to make sure that you're professors will help you get into a good job. Maybe they'll be able to write you a recommendation letter. No matter if you're looking nurse practitioner jobs or graphic design jobs or business jobs you always have to make sure that what you want to go for you have the right education and you're not wasting money on education going for something that you apparently don't want to do.
