When considering purchasing a notebook computer one of the first considerations is how it will perform in comparison with a desktop computer. Power: Even the cheapest laptop computers have sufficient computing power to carry out most of the tasks that almost all users need. But if you really want to have the same computing power as the most powerful desktops, then you'll have to pay a relatively higher price
Functionality and Performance: Again, because of their size, desktop computers have more room for equipment for example DVD and Blu-ray writers, multi-card readers and webcams. These can be offered with laptops but this may also increase the price and the weight of the laptop.
