New Algorithm For Google
The world's largest search engine has once again made some changes to their secret formula that will weed out some of the lower quality sites. Google handles around two thirds of all web searches in the world and is constantly under fire to make things better. In order to give you lightning fast returns every time you search, there is a Recent Algorithm For Google.
The problem with the internet is there is so much content out there that is not the quality Google wants you to see. They wanted to be sure and give you the best possible answer to your inquiry. By tweaking the algorithm a bit they were able to get rid of some of the junk and present you with a higher ranked website.
Many sites rely on traffic generated by Google so even a small reduction in ranking can have a big impact on their incomes. There are countless programs out there that you can buy that say they will help increase your ranking on Google. Well, I think they are all about to have to re-write their programs. I personally know of a couple of people that took a huge hit when their Google accounts were closed last year. You can't run a business online without them but don't make them your sole source of income. You've heard it before, "don't put all your eggs in one basket". Hence the entrance into the field by a company called Blekko.
Like any company on top you are constantly challenged by newcomers trying to gain the top spot. A respectable contender is Blekko who launched publically in November of 2010. Blekko is a web search engine that strives to provide better search results through the use of "slash tags". These provide culled results for common searches that weed out the crappy sites and show you the more relevant professional ones. Blekko is now averaging over One Million queries per day which is still miniscule in comparison to the behemoth called Google, but keep an eye on them for sure.
Internet retail sales have been steadily increasing with 2010 out pacing 2009 by 12.6%. Did you get your share of the estimated $126 Billion sold online? Shoppers continue to become more comfortable making purchases online rather than going into the brick and mortar stores at the shopping center. With the increased use of computer based phones and tablets, the consumer is more prepared and finds better deals when they go shopping. I used my recently when I was shopping for an used car. I went to Kelly blue Book on my Iphone and found the pricing of the vehicle I was looking at.
Google will be the king of the hill for a long time to come unless there is a major shift of dramatic proportions in the way we search online. The use of a new algorithm from Google is their way of bringing you the best search possible. You can't stay on top unless you do what is necessary to stay ahead of the pak.
