Most women who have given birth discover that, once the baby has been born, there is still work to be done if they want to fit into their old clothes. Sadly, once you have given birth, there is no way you are going to want to feel like doing a bunch of extra exercise and you will have gotten so used to eating high calorie diets that going low calorie food is going to feel like torture. The good news is that the three tips below will help you lose that post-baby weight and they're easy enough that any woman can do them. So if you just had a baby, and you desperately want to lose the weight, then follow the three tips below and you'll be back to your pre-baby weight in no time.
The Reverse Curl: Women who have just given birth will have to work hard to get their abdominal muscles back to normal and reverse curls can really help with this. In this exercise, you need to lie down on the floor (keeping your knees bent) and face the ceiling. Your feet need to be positioned just above your hips and and, keeping your arms on the floor, straight down from your shoulders and next to your torso, lift your hips off of the floor while drawing in your abs and breathing in and out. Slowly return your hips to the floor and then start over. Try to do this twenty times. If you aren't able to do twenty in the beginning try increasing the amount you can do each day until you get to twenty. Then try working up to 50.
This exercise will really strengthen your abs which will help you lose that pooch and it will also help you walk straighter and with more confidence than ever before.
The Super Crunch: This is an ab exercise that should be a part of every workout after giving birth. To begin this exercise, lie down with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Your hands should rest behind your head and, while taking deep breaths in and out, hold your abs in and left your head and your shoulders off of the floor. Then, keep that position while you bring your knees up to touch your elbows while also lifting your hips a little bit up off of the ground. Slowly put your body back into its beginning position. Do three sets of twelve to twenty to get your abs into the best shape you've ever seen while losing weight really quickly.
Lunges: lunges are exercises that will work all of your important leg muscles which makes them fantastic calorie burners. Not only will lunges help you lose weight, they will build your leg muscles which means that you'll even be burning your calories while you rest. To start your lunge stand with your feet hip-width apart while putting your hands on your hips and drawing in your abs. Bring your left foot forward so that your leg is bent at a 90 degree angle. With your right leg still straight, lower your body until that knee almost touches the floor. Slowly raise yourself back up and repeat the action with your left leg. Do this five times on each leg to give yourself a killer workout.
If you find yourself weighing more than you would like to after your baby has been born, you need to do something about it. Thankfully, these weight loss methods are easy and you can do them any time and in any place. Just make sure you warm up properly before you begin any workout and that you do a proper cool down too. There are lots of things you can do to lose weight but these three tips are a great starting point.
