Looking for a new a different twist to your ad copy? Running out of ideas that jump up and grab your target audience?
Finding that perfect eye catching, mind grabbing, rapid response title is not as hard as you may believe.
Marketing companies have paid thousands of dollars for words; words that will sell a product. Look at what “diamond’s are a girls best friend” did for the diamond industry; “don’t leave home without it” did for that card company; and who can forget “you can’t eat just one”.
There is a very simple formula for finding and writing a good ad headline. It does not take going to a marketing school or buying a product for hundreds of dollars to teach you.
Go to any magazine rack in any of your local supermarkets or bookstore. Look for magazines in your target audience. Here you will see the headlines that probably cost hundreds of dollars to develop that are written specifically to entice them to read an article or buy a product.
Then, take a look at the articles and the ads. Look at everything about those magazines. They are written specifically to market to, and generate sales from, your target audience.
For example: I picked up one cooking magazine by a well known cook. On only the cover it says, Dinner s Ready, foolproof recipes for under $10.00 ; 334 New Ideas to Make Life Easier ; Get The Most Out of Your Slow Cooker ; 30 Minute Meals ; Secrets From Our Kitchen To Yours
If you have a slow cooker you will read the article. If you are a busy person you will definitely read “30 Minute Meals”. If you are on a budget, you will read, “Dinner’s Ready, foolproof recipes for under $10.00”. Right?
Using words like Secret , foolproof , Easier , New , and Fast can bring an audience to open your article and read it. Be careful not to over promise what you can not deliver.
Ad titles like “Lose Weight Today”, “Make Money Now” or “Instant Riches”, you know cannot deliver immediate action, however, they do attract immediate response. Which means your audience will click on it because they are curious. And that is all you want, someone to at least look at your ad. It will be you “AD” then that compels a buyer. However, that is another article.
Words like “Free”, “How To”, “Guaranteed”, “Learn To” and “Simple” are also audience grabbers, but you must deliver to be credible.
“How To Write A Great Ad Title”; “Free Ebook When You Join”; “50,000 Free Visitors To Your Site”; “Guarantee Weight Loss”; “Learn To Stay Healthy” are a few samples of clickable titles.
If you do not want to go to the market just look at the ads you see online, Stop Wasting Your Money ; Live Video Proof ; Make Money In 15 Minutes ; New Way To Market .
Using Capital Letters for the beginning of each work in your title brings out your title.
“lose weight now” or “Lose That Weight Today and Forever”, which are you most likely to click on?
“watch this video” or “Watch This Video and See The Proof”, which are you most likely to click on?
Another tip to ad titles are using numbers. People like to see numbers. “3 Simple Tips for…” can be used for anything. “…for weight loss”, “…for saving money”, “…for saving time” are just a few samples of using numbers.
Research your target market in the search engines and look at the ad titles.
Using some of these ideas, rework them, use them as your own, and watch your sales soar.
