That may be when dark thought processes can creep in. Ask your kids how school was and anything else to have a pleasant conversation. Make an effort to inject some humor, if possible, by recounting anything that happened that is funny.
In no way appear that you do not want to speak about what is going on with the anorexic condition. It is fine to examine, but just be aware that it is not a prime topic on a daily basis. One thing that is crucial is to avoid any images that you are reluctant to deal with what is happening.
