In the past, the features of communication and entertainment were limited but because of the advances in the computing technology, several things have become possible, and one of these is enjoying your computer files on your television just by connecting PC to TV. As a matter of fact, when you connect your PC to your TV, you can enjoy different multimedia files, play games, see your photos, and even play your favorite songs on your television set in just a matter of seconds. Connecting PC to TV is not a complicated process. Just make sure you meet all the necessary conditions required to enjoy this system.

Requirements for Television Set Connection

For connecting PC to TV, you need to secure the same kind of connector as your computer for your television set. This connector is called the video-in connector or TV-in connector. However, you should also secure a line-out connector for the soundcard. If you can't find the exact connector for your television set, it is also possible to use either a VCR or an extra round connector that is similar to an antenna connector device. It is also possible to configure your television set to the VCR channel via VCR.

Steps to Follow When Connecting PC to TV:

Essentially, you should change the settings of your Windows in order to connect your computer to your TV set successfully. Follow the configuration steps below:

1. Point your mouse to the desktop. Right-click on it.
2. Click on properties
3. Click on the TV output option.

If you've already tried several times but all your efforts were still in vain, check the resolution. If it is too high, change it to 800x600.

Additional Things to Remember:

1. If the menu doesn't appear, then something must be wrong in the connection.
? Check if the S-video cable is in black and white.
3. A horizontal keyway must be present in the S-video.

Recently manufactured computers are already connected with colors. This is the same case for recently manufactured TV sets. The difference is that the S-video in recently manufactured TV sets already comes in different colors. If the one you have is still in black and white, you can always use a composite cable to replace the S-video. You can always proceed to connecting PC to TV since it is such an easy and simple task to do. To avoid any conflict, make sure to follow the steps given in this article.
