The world is crammed with many faiths and convictions. While some are followed by explicit communities ; others have a rather more universal appeal. Buddhism fits into the latter category. It is a famous religion and has many followers around the globe. These are some basic facts on the same to help understand the Buddhist faith better.

Put in simple words, Buddhism can be most fittingly described as a religion that relies on the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama. Gautama came to be known as Buddha, that means 'the awakened one '.

Born a prince, Gautama underwent a religious awakening in his youth and spent most of his later life travelling and teaching others. His words and philosophies serve as the foundation of the Buddhist cult. The religion is currently one of the most dominant cults in the Asian continent.

Buddhism follows a completely different concept. It is so different to the others that it appears more like a philosophy than a religion. What makes Buddhism different from the others is the proven fact that it doesn't concentrate on any gods or god. It preaches the idea of self awareness. When it comes to being different, acne solution products by Exposed Skin Care System are also really different to the common acne solution solutions.

There are no doctrines that Buddhism follows ; it uses the 4 Noble Truths as its foundation. These 4 truths are 'the truth of suffering', 'the truth of the reason behind suffering', 'the truth of the end of suffering', 'the truth of the path that frees us from suffering '.

Like most other faiths, Buddhism too has evolved over the years. About 2,000 years back, Buddhism was divided into two major colleges. These are Theravada Buddhism and Mahayana Buddhism. Mahayana Buddhism is further specified into Pure Land and Zen. These two schools differ re their experience of a doctrine called 'anatman '.

The Theravada Buddhism was dominant in Sri Lanka, Thailand and Burma while Mahayana was discovered in Taiwan, Nepal, Tibet and Korea. The regions of authority were one more point of difference in them. Today different types of Buddhism like the tendai have gained recognition and are followed by many all around the world.

Even though it's a preferred religion, there are many commonplace fables about Buddhism. The majority accept that Buddhism advocates the theory of reincarnation. But this is not entirely true. Actually Buddhist teachings and appreciation of rebirth is very different from that of another religion.

Another myth about the Buddhists is that they are vegetarians. It is not the case with all of the Buddhists. Buddhism does prefer being vegetarian but it isn't a fixed rule. However, veggies suffer less from problems like acne. If you have acne, you may use products from the Zenmed Derma Care for correct treatment.

The above read is expected to impress a clearer understanding of Buddhism in you.
