DUBturb creates elaborate percussion patterns With Garageband ease

Quite honestly, when I first acquired this product to evaluate I was a bit skeptical because I had never heard of it and my extensive background as a professional seems to get in the way of what I consistently want in software involving music. But, I was pleasantly astonished, this software seemed to really have it all. I was never left with the common feeling of 'I wish it could do that' that I get with so a number of music software. In this item I plan on discussing the main points and features of dubturbo software that will allow the average and the musically inclined to make drum sequences and patterns without difficulty.

There just happens to be 3 principal elements to dubturbo that compartmentalize it from the rest of the other recording and drum sequencing applications out there, and of course many small things that do as well, however I'll discuss these 3 large things first.

The first principal element of dubturbo software is the sequencer. The sequencer is the all familar ProTools/GarageBand style screen that tells you the sounds and when they are displaying or not playing. It's not extremely special, although what does set this apart is that it's got 16 tracks. A percussion sequencer with 16 tracks is pretty infrequent because most have far fewer! It's not the boundless that ProTools will give you, though will ProTools run on your netbook? I don't believe so; dubturbo will. dubturbo lays out all the tracks easily in the sequencer screen, I tend to believe of this as my home screen.

The next main element of Dubturbo software is the drum machine. It's clear that this was very well thought out. Unlike GarageBand where you happen to be enforced into percussion sequences, dubturbo software lets one create anyone you wish, or modify one that already exists. It's limited to just 10 pads per track, though this allows one to 'type' in the rhythm by using your computer keyboard as the beat pad. It converts your number pad into a beat kit and you get to determine each sample. There could not be a more custom-made way of doing this either. you can choose either predetermined drum 'sets' or conceive your own. To enter rhythms, you can either work with your mouse and click on which component of the beat you want sound to happen or type it in on your drum pad/keyboard. This thing is mind-blowing.

The other main part to dubturbo is the 4 Octave Keyboard feature. This is THE feature which separates dubturbo apart from the competition. one can insert melodic ideas, harmonic concepts, bass lines, anything with this. Beats without bass really are boring, repetitive and seriously lame. however add a bass line, or some sort of harmonic or melodic attraction and all of a sudden those repetitive beats seem to have some sort of flow and provide interest to your audience. dubturbo software additionally makes it easy as pie to use the keyboard feature. By using your computer keyboard, you can put the notes in really like you were in front of a piano. It's so easy and manageable to do, I wish that Sibelius or Finale notation software were this effortless! dubturbo software allows one to work with up to 4 Octaves which is a wide range. To some that may seem libuted, however segregateeparate your trackhardfficult to feel limited.

Here just happen to be the other things which happen to be very marvelous about DUBturbo...

There are soooo countless noises one can play with. If you've ever used GarageBand, there really are a bunch of different noises and sequences you can adopt, though navigating them takes practice to get and it's not that effortless, with DUBturbo, all the sounds are effortless to navigate. They pop up in the middle of the screen, not just at the bottom like in GarageBand. you can do more with the sounds, one can even adapt the keys the sounds just happen to be in. In GarageBand one happen to be stuck to whatever key the sample is in, that may not be the key of your beat. dubturbo software makes changing keys easy.

dubturbo lets you upload your beats and sell them to other dubturbo software users. That's right, writing music is effortless on dubturbo software and getting paid for those beats is really as easy!

DUBturbo outputs extremely high quality tracks so you don't have to worry about loss of quality when you burn to CD.

Using dubturbo software is easy, even for the non-musical user. It comes with a video tutorial series to walk you through, step by step, on through what medium to conceive easy beats all the way through advanced user features. So learning the application couldn't be easier! These videos really are even great for users familiar with similar style programs because it shows one shortcuts and secrets to create using the application more effortless.

Honestly, I haven't seen an beat sequencing application as thoroughly put together as dubturbo software. It really does have it all and it creates putting together beats from any genre simple and fun.

efficiency of Use: 9/10
Quality of Application: 9/10
Features: 10/10
Overall Value: 9.5/10

This really comes in the cream of the crop program.
