Okay, so you've just broken up with your ex-girlfriend and now, you find yourself down in the dumps, wondering what it is that you did wrong and what you can do to fix things. And you probably also want to know if it is even possible for you to attract her back and be done with all of this wondering and confusion and just make things RIGHT again.
Here's a basic rundown of why most guys do NOT get back with their girlfriend and get the benefits of a second chance at romance with her:
1. They immediately crawl into their shell and become submissive to their ex-girlfriend.
One of the most common reactions is for a guy to all of a sudden go from being a normal guy, to being one that wants to apologize and beg for forgiveness every single time that he sees her. Just imagine if you were with your ex-girlfriend and all SHE did was apologize and say she was sorry. It would probably get old really quick and start to work on your last nerve.
Well, guess how your ex girlfriend feels when YOU do this?
2. They are quick to displace blame and rest it all on the shoulders of their ex-girlfriend.
This is VERY common as well. You start to blame her for all of the reasons why the two of you broke up. While it might make you feel better temporarily, just think about it from a long term perspective. When you do this, you are pretty much pushing her away FOREVER. Would you get back with your girlfriend if she all of a sudden cast YOU as the villain?
When you see things from HER perspective, it can be easy to understand why this approach is one of the worst things that you can do.
3. A lot of men will just plain old give up.
When the going gets tough, where will you stand? If you are quick to back down at the first signs of things not working out in your favor, then you are not going to end up with what you really want to happen. To attract your ex girlfriend back, you are going to have to come to the understanding that you will face times when it seems like it's all just a big struggle and you are getting nowhere fast. Think of it as just a test to see if you are really committed to your decision to re-kindle the flame.
Make no mistake, I am no way advocating that you put pressure on her or do anything to harass her. This will only cause her to want to RUN away from you and I would have to say she would have a good reason. Just make sure that if you ask her to hang out and she says no that you don't let it seem like the end of the world.
Getting back with your ex-girlfriend is NOT going to be as easy as snapping your fingers. Then again, nothing in life that is worth having comes THIS easy.
