Soon after the much-anticipated and well reputed release of Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way,' many celebrities started sharing their opinion about the song. A popular source to let their observation known in the media, without going by virtue of the hassle of actual interviews and press conferences is the social networking website 'Twitter,' and Gaga's counterparts did just that.
Paramore vocalist Hayley Williams killed two birds with one stone as her tweet commended the efforts of Egyptians for dethroning their government, as well as her appreciation for the latest Gaga track. "YES EGYPT!!! hence inspired by your perseverance and your bravery. and speaking of liberation, I just heard 'Born This Way' and loved it. DON'T BE A DRAG JUST BE A QUEEN," the red headed singer tweeted.
Lindsay Lohan, who is once again in the headlines for the wrong reasons, also posted a message on her Twitter account in the build-up to Born This Way's release, which read, "I'm so excited for Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' to drop!"
Even if not every one was all 'ooh and aah' as evident by Chris Daughtry's remarks which pointed to the connection between 'Born This Way' and Madonna's famous 'Express Yourself' track. "Just listened to a clip of Lady Gaga 'Born This Way' and I gotta say ... sounds a lot like 'Express Yourself' from Madonna. Thoughts? OK. Good. A lotta peeps are saying the same thing so maybe I won't get raked over the coals :) I thought I was crazy for a second. And by the way ... I'm not dogging it. Haven't even heard it all ... that was just my first impresh," the onetime American Idol finalist shared.
Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, who has been very generous with his pre-release remarks for the song, continued doing so after the Express Yourself comparisons cropped up. "Express Yourself 2.0 is what individuals are saying? I'll happily take that!!! #BornThisWayFriday," Hilton posted.
Social personality and celebutante Khloe Kardashian further sounded her approval for 'Born This Way' by retweeting Perez's tweet, and coming up with another one of her own which read, "'Born This Way'!!!!!! Woooohoooo I love you more."
