Weight Loss Tip #1: We Eat at the Wrong Time

In the US we have a bizarre situation:

We do not eat a lot for breakfast, and lunch is often quickly "squeezed in" between our busy work schedule. Obviously, we are in a hurry to get to work, and at lunch time we only have 60 mins or less available. In the US, the biggest meal of the day is usually taken at dinner time.

This is wrong on many levels.

Firstly, you need the energy, vitamins and nutrition during the day, not at night. Obviously, it would be good to start the day with a healthy breakfast.

In Europe, lunch is usually the biggest meal of the day with supper usually being smaller, in the form of sandwiches or similar. It is known for a long time already that eating at night is a bad thing to do.

The day is already over and you will be relaxing from the day, so why is dinner the biggest meal of the day? Think about it and change this if you can.

Weight Loss Tip #2: Drinking Water is Essential for Health & Weight Loss

Drinking plenty of water has benefits on many levels. Not only can drinking plenty of water reduce the feeling of being hungry, in addition it also helps with clearing and cleansing our body. Again, it should not surprise that one of the most effective weight loss tips is so simple as drinking plenty of water daily.

Weight Loss Tip #3: Get Rid of Non Balanced and Non Healthy Foods

Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables. There are so many benefits with this, let us just list a few:

Fruits and veggies contain vitamins which can boost our overall health and fitness. They also contain lots of good fiber which helps to fight the feeling of being hungry and therefore to lose weight.

A good idea would be to eat your daily meals always with a side of healthy vegetables, instead of greasy fries or other side dishes which don't provide any health or weight loss benefits.

For in between, you can eat fresh fruits which will tie you over until lunch or dinner. And of course fruits are an excellent substitute for those un-healthy snacks.

Weight Loss Tip #4: More Smaller Meals Spread Out Over The Day

There is not one single reason why to limit our daily meals to only two or three "big" meals. In fact this is not healthy at all.

One of the best weight loss tips is instead to eat many smaller meals over the day. This way, your body metabolism is always running on "high" and burning more calories. The overall hunger feeling is reduced and you don't feel the need to eat big at the end of the day which is unhealthy anyway.

Weight Loss Tip #5: Stressing over your Weight Loss and Having Unrealistic Expectations

If you want to lose weight, you are not racing against someone. Read the weight loss tips and relax. There is hardly a reason to be stressed about it. It is not about losing a certain amount of pounds in a few days, rather about permanent success also in the long run.

Since this is all connected so much to our overall health and fitness, the best approach for weight loss is usually a change in our overall life style as a whole. While the weight loss tips seem simple, this does not mean they are not effective, by a long shot.

Better and healthier nutrition, paired with moderate but frequent exercise. Is it hard to do? No.

You will soon successfully lose weight and feel healthier too if you follow those simple weight loss tips.
