Have you ever had to hire a plumber in an emergency? Well let me tell you I have, and when you need an emergency plumber you need them fast. It may be over something as simple as a clogged drain or in my case, I needed one for a water heater repair. I am not fond of taking cold showers in the middle of December, so it was an emergency.
The first thing I did was just to try and find any plumber service. What I found out though by doing this is not all will make emergency calls. I could not believe it, isn't that what plumbers are there for...emergencies? The few that I did find, were surprising. They would come out-- but they wanted to charge extra fees and it would have ended up costing me an arm and a leg!
What I did next was just contact some of the general plumbing companies and plumbing contractors that work in the area. I figured even though many of them do not make house calls of this nature, they might be able to at least point me in the right direction. They had given me a good little tip, they told me for emergencies not to even bother with any plumber service or even most of the plumbing and heating guys. The main thing I need to look at when trying to hire a plumber in an emergency is to find a 24 hr plumber.
So I went back to my search on trying to hire a plumber using this new information from the insiders. And you know what, it worked! I called a few 24 hr plumbers to get rates and see when the earliest they could come over. All three of them quoted me excellent prices and two told me they could be over with in the hour. So if you are in are serious need for a plumber look for the 24 hr plumber. There are usually many of them available close by to you and can be at your home rather quickly This is what these guys are available for, so don't feel bad calling at 2 in the morning for a busted pipe.
So whether you have a clogged drain or you happened to lose your wedding ring down the toilet you now can easily make the right decision. There is no sense living in agony over plumbing fears anymore.
