Over the years I have helped hundreds of people with their weight loss problem and have found that by making it simple, you don't need to spend on expensive weight loss programs.

The Two Secrets

1.Eat Less
2.Move More

It really is as simple as that and here I could end this article!

OK maybe I could help you a little more.

How Do you put on Weight?

If you eat more than your body needs to work properly, quiet simply, you get fat. The time of the day you eat is important and eating the wrong kind of foods that satisfy you for a short time but don't fill you up.

Telling everyone you only have to look at a cake and you put on weight... Only you know what the truth is. Feeling you are stressed can help you gain weight and just to say, that there are a very few medical conditions that result in you gaining weight

What Simple actions can you take to lose weight?

Plan you meals in advance and then you don;t have to reach for the nearest "snack" or send out for a takeaway that is loaded with all the stuff that makes you put on weight

Carbohydrate or Starchy Foods

The foods from this group are your body's main source of energy. Here we are talking mainly about pasta, rice, potatoes, noodles, chapatti, cereals and bread.

All these foods apart from potatoes, are all made from grains, such as wheat, corn or rice. They should be a large part of all meals, filling about a third of your plate. Just go easy on the bread!

What is the difference in the Grains?

Grains come in two forms, refined or unrefined (often known as whole grains)

Refined grains have been stripped of their outer coating and part of the inside also when it was milled. What is left is made into white rice, white bread and white pasta.

In a whole grain everything is still there as nature intended. We are left with fibre, protein, vitamins and minerals and carbohydrates. In simple terms it leaves us full for longer Some people think starchy foods are fattening, but they contain fewer than half the calories of fat. Surprising isn't it?

Other Health Benefits of Fibre

Fibre is digested slowly so you feel full for longer. It helps lower blood cholesterol and helps prevent constipation It is also thought to reduce the risk of getting diabetes and bowel cancer

Fibre will help you lose weight and just a few changes to your diet will help you achieve your goal
