When it comes to multilevel marketing the title of this article is exactly what a lot of the general public think. Even people that join a business end up calling it a scam within the first week or month. In this article I will be telling you exactly how it is. I may ruff some feathers so to speak, but that is cool with me because people need to be aware of the TRUTH, and not all the BS and other pieces of sugar fluff floating around. This is and will be an UNBIASED article so you can make your own minds up at the end based on the truth instead of worthless cover ups.
You can call it multilevel marketing or you can it mlm for short, it really does not matter. At the end of the day this side of the marketing industry has taken a lot of knocks over time. People have been saying it is a scam, it is this and it is that, when actually, that is far from the truth.
Before I dive into the topic of why that is far from the truth, let's define the word scam. According to the Oxford English dictionary, a scam is a dishonest scheme. Now then there are many reasons why people may call mlm a scam. Maybe it is because the company doesn't deliver on what it says, maybe it is because the company's products are not what they appear to be, or maybe it is because the company does not pay its affiliates. Or, it could be the fact that people were with that business for around a month and did not make any money and as a result, the multilevel marketing industry is nothing but a scam.
To begin with, mlm is NOT a get rich quick scheme or an industry where you will make money overnight. It takes time, patience and a he'll of a lot of commitment before you, or anybody else will begin to get results and eventually succeed. So with that said, how can people expect to become rich overnight? How can they expect to be living in freedom after just one month? When in fact, the first SIX months are referred to as being the learning curve. Where you learn about the business, the industry, advertising methods and more.
So, one reason why people call multilevel marketing a scam is because they are too impatient and lazy, and because of their lack of commitment, they get no results and end up quitting only to go on and say it was nothing but a scam. At the very first sign of a roadblock or any failure, people will simply give up and have a negative attitude towards the mlm industry. At the end of the day, if you do not see any results, it is NOT the business or the industry, it is YOU. You need to step up and take responsibility for YOUR actions and stop looking to blame something or someone else for YOUR failures.
If it was the fault of the business or the multilevel marketing industry, how can other affiliates in the EXACT SAME business be achieving massive success and living their dreams? How can other affiliates in the EXACT SAME business be earning residual income consisting of 5, 6 or even 7 figures a month? The answer is because these other affiliates take responsibility for their actions and do what is necessary in order to get the results. They are willing, patient and no matter what happens, they NEVER simply give up or quit come hell or high water.
No matter what you have read or heard, one beauty of the multilevel marketing industry is the consequences that come with it. They say every action produces an outcome and for some people, the outcome has been huge. This is the only industry which has given a lot of people a chance to become millionaires. It is the only industry that has the most millionaires and will continue to give many people the freedom they want, as long as they do what is necessary and take responsibility for their actions.
This article on multilevel marketing was not in any way intended to offend anybody, as my only goal was to give an unbiased opinion on mlm. At the end of the day, you will not succeed overnight and those that stay committed and never quit, will begin to succeed. If you quit at the first obstacle you will fail period. I hope this article has opened the eyes of some people because the multilevel marketing industry is one of the most beautiful and opportunistic industries ever created...
