The nook is one of the most popular ereaders on the market and in this authors opinion it is better than the kindle and ipad tablets, i prefer its size and screen over the other two ereaders. The main thing i like about my ereader is that it allows mer to carry hundreds and hundreds of books on a single gadget that is smaller than most hardback paper books. My biggest problem when i got my nook was how to find ebooks for nook.
The First way i recommend to finding ebooks for nook is to look up your favourite authors personal websites online, many have them and you can often find them selling their newest books before they go on general release and in some cases i have found suthors giving away some their older books for free. this is one of my favourite ways to get ebooks for nook, as i know when i get books this way 100% of my money goes directly to the author and not a big company who takes most of the money.
The next tip i can offer is a service called nook ebooks, this is a brand new service i just signed up to that gives me unmetered access to ebooks for the nook. I paid a one off fee of $20 for a lifetime memebership and now i have access to all the ebooks i wish from a library of over 40,000. The library includes the newest best sellers and cult classics, it really supprised me that this service isnt more popular with tablet ereader users. I particlularly like the way i can search by genre like horror etc and find lots of new authors i didnt know about its a great way of finding new works.
The last tip i can offer is a service called scribd, this is a online pdf publishing centre. It allows anyone to create an account for free and then upload any pdf they like. It includes a lot of books and novels, but also newspapers, comics and research papers and short ebooks, it is a good service but does not have the quality of the ebooks that u gain from the two methods above.
By using these 3 methods i have saved literally hundreds of dollars on purchasing ebooks for my nook on a individual basis, i no longer pay $10 per ebook but just download 10 or 20 at a time and delete any i do not like and dont feel i have wasted $10
