The horseless carriage was an invention inside the nineteenth century that had an enormous impact on the lives of everyday folks. It took a couple of years, but the horseless carriage went from becoming considered a novelty (or perhaps a nuisance) to becoming a necessity.
Since automobiles are so essential in today's world, it's simple to think that those that lived at the beginning of the "age of the automobile" must have all be thrilled and struck with wonder at the invention of such a fantastic machine. Some early advocates even stated that cars would assist to relieve congestion simply because cars only took up half as significantly space as a horse and wagon. Well, okay, they weren't right about everything.
