A normal remodeling process will go through several stages:
Measuring: The installers will need to know the square footage, finished edges, backsplashes, and number of cut outs your application requires in order to offer you an accurate quote. You can take the measurements or a Stone Solutions associate. Diagrams or drawings are useful when quoting a job.
Selecting the Material: A visit to the showroom and warehouse will open your eyes to the large variety of stone and other materials that you can select from. The knowledgeable staff can guide you in your decision making and help you to make the best choice for your space.
Template Production: Once final selections have been made, Stone Solutions will schedule a time to come to your location and create a template of your space. If you prefer, you can visit the showroom and warehouse to verify which part of the stone slabs your pieces will be cut from and see where all seam locations will be. Many materials come with innate color and pattern variations which may limit you to having your stone cut from certain sections of the slabs.
The Fabrication Process: Once the template is complete and the material selected; the Stoner Solutions experienced fabricating team will cut your stone to size and finish all edges as specified.
The Installation: After fabrication, the Stone Solutions installers will deliver your stone to your location and set them in place. Depending on the scope and scale of your project, installation may require a variety of steps to be completed in your location. All seams are finished and all sinks are installed on the jobsite.
After Installation - Maintenance: The Stone Solutions installers will educate you on maintenance of your new countertop; the goal is to get maximum durability and good looks for the long run. Normal maintenance would include using a non-abrasive soap and warm water to clean your granite. Rinse with clear water, dry with a clean, soft cloth.
