When you turn on the television set, it is entirely impossible to come across a channel and not see a reality show on air. Every broadcast network is keen on producing reality shows which has episodes that every household follows. It appears that it has become easier to win prize money and enjoy fame by delving into reality. The massive attention being paid to the drama, adventure, comedy and travel portrayed in reality shows have been the keys for it to lead the airwaves.

So, if you think you have the winning concept for the next big reality show, better create it now and enjoy the outcome. Here are surefire ways to convert your version into a reality.

1. Tell your trusted family members and friends about your idea. It's better if they are not involved in the business of producing reality shows to avoid the risk of having your concept stolen. Then, listen to their feedback. Take note of their comments about how a one of a kind adventure or travel to somewhere far would greatly improve your concept. Usually, what they say also reflects what the potential audience would think.

2. Invest on a screenplay software. This software will help you have a clear idea on the structure, look and feel of your reality show concept. You can write out your script as you imagine it happening in reality. The idea you have for the hosts' speeches, commercial breaks, introduction to the challenges and more can be neatly gathered with the screenplay software. Although you will have a lot of open space since you are doing a reality show, it's still a good idea to have the more structured part ready.

3. Plan on several potential episodes. You should also picture out the different possible scenarios, challenges, twists and write them all down on a separate document. This will greatly give you, as well as the reality show producer, an idea where your reality show is heading to and what are the other things to look forward to if ever your reality show will continue to air. You can also shoot your potential pilot episode. Find or hire a crew which can be composed of helpful family members and friends, or get professional help if you want. When you already have a crew, you can now begin to look for candidates that will partake in the adventure, comedy, travel or drama of your show.

4. Hold an audition so you can look for the candidates of your reality show. Interview everyone who shows up. It is also a wise decision to videotape the auditions so that you will have a reference to look at when making a decision on who to approve of. Videotaped audition also helps in getting an idea on how each candidate registers on the camera. Also, review your list of potential candidates before making a final decision. To keep things interesting, you should have a good mixture of people coming from different walks of life. Their different personalities will clash eventually, creating the conflict and travel while they embark on the adventure. It would definitely keep the reality show enticing and the audience can't let go of it.

5. Lastly, shoot your pilot episode. You can set up a studio or do what your show requires. Then, edit the footage on digital computer editing software. You can then post it online.
