The Wonder File is an As Seen On TV product that I didn't think much of at first. When I saw the commercial it looked great and very functional for those who needed a desk organizer, but who really needs one? Is this something that people would use every day to organize their lives?
At first I really didn't think so but the next time I saw the wonder file commercial it hit me like a ton of bricks. I knew someone who would die for one of these and at that moment I realized that this was a great product. So being me, I thought I would order it and write a wonder file review with the help of the very special person I was getting it for.
You may have heard me say this before but I've always believed the genius of As Seen On TV products is that they seemingly brilliantly solve problems we aren't sure if we even have. Through the over the top and very campy advertising campaigns we are pummeled with scenarios of people failing miserably at the common every day things which are now shown the answers to with some really strange gadget. Most of the time the products are laughable but they appeal to a certain nice audience.
The wonder file is no different and the niche of people I think it would be great for are those planning a wedding! Watching my daughter currently pulling her hair out trying to stay organized for her wedding is a nightmare. I never realized how many little scraps of paper with important details there are and every one of them seems to be the most important thing keeping the wedding on track. Not to mention the endless brochures, menu items, floral shops and whatever else adds stress to planning this day.
So when I showed up with the Wonder File my daughter was ecstatic. However, I blew it with the plaid, but oh well. Now the hard part is getting used to using this fold and go organizer but if you commit to it and put all your things into it propely, you will see the benefits immediately. There was plenty of places to store different categories of items which all were of equal importance to wedding planning and as my daughter kept on piling up more junk its usefulness became apparent.
Other than having a pretty well thought out organizer, my daughter was especially fond of the fact that you can literally fold up and go anywhere with the Wonder File. She was able to go to her friends houses and go through the endless brochures and even take her whole wedding file to each and every vendor and lay it right out for them to see.
So as I suspected, it was a smash hit with my daughter but there are a lot of other uses for this type of portable desk organizer. It's great for the home, office, students, teachers, crafters and coupon collectors. Although it might seem like nothing special when you see the commercial, this is one As Seen On TV product that just might find its place in the market.
