If you have the guts to write a quality article or content, then is normal to possess such character. Might be that you’ve dreamed some time ago. Well, you should not hesitate to write up some more and boost what your point of views dictate you to write.
But then, if you already wrote a lot of article or contents and you find something is lacking with your piece. I guess you should watch out how your sentence varies from each other. There are a variety of ways to make your writing sound fresh and dynamic. Varying the types of sentences you use is probably the simplest. In fact, it’s the one technique we recommend beginning writers to immediately employ.
In the English language, there are four basic types of sentences as you might already knew, each one featuring different levels of complexity. Sticking to one type for the duration (even the majority) of a piece is the shortest route to making sure that your writing is particularly boring. Even if your grammar checker approves, your reader probably wouldn’t. You should focus your attention on how are you going to improve your writings more by noting down the following types of sentences.
Simple Sentences: Consisting of one subject and one verb, it’s the most basic sentence structure in the English language. Beginner level ESL speakers will likely be restricted to this type of sentence construction. You don’t want to look like you have hat level of facility with the English vernacular, do you? It is the simplest type of sentence, therefore, you will find it easier to construct this kind of sentence in your content.
Compound Sentences: Put two independent clauses together, linked logically by either a coordinating conjunction (such as “for,” “and” and “yet”) or a conjunctive adverb (such as “therefore,” “however” and “for instance”), and you’ve got a compound sentence. Two simple sentences (provided they are related) can easily be converted into a compound one to immediately vary usage in your paragraphs. Don’t make your sentence a little bit long so that your readers will not find it boring to read.
Complex Sentences: When you put together two clauses, one of them being dependent on the other, you’ve got a complex sentence. Identifying a dependent clause is the trick here – they usually begin with words that show the dependency, such as “which,” “when” and “because.”
Compound/Complex Sentences: This is the motherload of sentence structure, consisting of two or more independent clauses, along with one or more dependent clauses.
Whatever types of sentence you’ll choose for your article, you should always remember that you can vary any sentence at a time. Make it an interesting thing to read and that you will be able to enhance yourself more to create a better and effective piece. Take it as an experience and make sure to format your content well. Check grammar errors and other misspelling because it can affect also the quality of your article. So take it easy and don’t rush things ahead. If possible, plan out your next step.
