Located in the Alt Empord and Baix Empord of the province of Girona. The Costa Brava is along the shoreline of the Catalan province of Girona, the other important geographical and spectacular feature of which is the Pyrenees Mountains. The Costa stretches from Blanes, north of Barcelona, ??to Roses near the French border.

It is interesting to know that ' the Costa Brava' literally means 'the wild coast'.
This area has long been a preferred and desirable place for tourists from around the world. Located close to the Costa Dorada and Costa Blanca and offers the same beautiful sandy beaches. Those who love adventure, will find this breathtaking natural beauty. The sunny beaches await those who love the heat. Lush green vegetation meets the deep blue sea. The romantic bays are for the couples. Those who are interested in culture, art and cuisine will discover a new paradise. The sport fans will find the perfect location - golf, squash, tennis, surfing, diving, modern swimming pools and fitness centers.

From April to October is the best time to visit the Costa Brava, where the temperature ranged from 20 degrees and rises to 30 degrees during the summer months.

The Costa Brava is a place with great ancient history. Here is the largest archaeological site found in Spain - Empuries. This is a town founded by Greek colonists.
