There is always some sort of event going on at the Wharf that makes up for the often disappointing shops. Close to the Pier, many sea lions have made their hangout right on the rocks. It is a playful sight to see. Sometimes you can catch a few dozen San Francisco sea lions playing right off of the pier.
The Bay area is home to many pristine, classy restaurants. You can find all sorts of little eateries that offer fresh seafood right from the bay! San Francisco is also made famous for the sour dough bread. Most diners and places to eat will have some sort of authentic sour dough bread on the menu.
Among the many things to do in San Francisco, cultural experiences are no better had than at a museum or art gallery. If you don't get your fill of art from the street performers and artists, make your way into one of the many museums that San Francisco has. San Francisco is also home to some very thoughtful pieces of art that will leave you contemplating the artists state of mind. No matter who you are, San Francisco will be a memory maker of good times.
